Insurance is at the heart of much of our shipping, transport and yacht work.

Together the team provide a comprehensive service regularly advising on coverage disputes, policy interpretation and issues involving misrepresentation, non-disclosure and breach of warranty. The team also handle non-marine insurance matters, including large scale property damage disputes relating to goods stored at commercial premises and claims arising from fire and flood damage.

We work closely with our insurance and broker clients and often help avoid disputes before they arise. Members of the team have been responsible for the development and drafting of several insurance wordings in current use. The most recent examples of these carry the Crystal Mark of approval by the Plain English Campaign.
